Are any among you suffering? They should pray. Are any cheerful? They should sing songs of praise. (James 5:13)

Every Thursday morning from 10.00am to about 10.30am a group of people meets together for a time of loosely structured prayer in the chapel at St. John’s. This group offers prayers for the people and ministries of St. John’s, for the Sea to Sky community, and for the wider world. Together, the prayer group explores different prayer practices, engaging silence, breathing, simple sung refrains, scripture and other elements and resources. There is always time given for the prayers on the hearts and minds of those present to be offered. If you or someone in your life needs prayer; or a place for quiet, intentional meditation and reflection with others, you are welcome to drop-in. All are welcome.
