I have been a member of this parish for 30 years. In that span, I have served as treasurer and later as people’s warden.
There have been many changes and improvements over the years. The bell tower is now sight to behold – and the bell which was silent for so many years, now rings out a call to worship. The persistent leaking is no longer a problem. Cracks in the hall walls have been repaired and painted.
The men’s breakfast, that meets once a month, provides a healthy meal while listening to invited speakers. The Friday night family suppers have proven very successful and well-attended.
Rev. Cameron and Jessica, plus Ian Brown have formed the nucleus of the new choir. Children are encouraged to join with their version on the drums…etc.
Rev. Cameron’s ability to communicate directly with the children during the service is fascinating to watch.
Following Communion, the congregation can look forward to coffee, tea and goodies. New families provided a marvelous BBQ.
This is the time of year when parishioners are asked to pledge their planned giving for the new year. Give it some serious consideration, for it is the basis for the 2026 budget.
