During the 10am service.

Bring your school backpack, work bag, briefcase or satchel to be blessed for the coming year!

Birding and the Holy Spirit. Saturday September the 18th

With the Rev. Jessica Schaap. 9am – noon.

What if we took seriously the fact that God takes the form of a bird in scripture? Come for an exploration of how birdlife might give us new insight into the nature of the Spirit and how birding can be a spiritual practice. Could it change our understanding of God and our neighbours? Over the morning we will gather, have fun with a birding app, go birdwatching in the Estuary, and discover how the Spirit is present in the story of creation. Bring binoculars and a smartphone.

10$ fee (bursaries available). Register through the church office.
