This week’s reflection is by Paul Smit, who reached out, having been inspired by the following narrative running through his head - a wonderful gift. May it be a blessing to you as it was for me - CG+
Choices.... Choices .....Choices
Each day, from the moment we wake up to the moment we shut our eyes, we make a myriad of choices. What to wear, eat, sport and the list is endless.
Each of our faith journeys is different. Some come to the Lord via seeing the beauty in nature, some moved by the holiness of a beautiful cathedral, some have always just believed and others having an "ah ha" moment during a time of deep despair (ie me).
We examine which Church / denomination we should belong to and which Bible translation we should use and all at the same time wondering if we have made the correct choice.
The choices in life can be mind numbing.
However, at this time, the Easter Season, we can rest in one fact. Christ has died, Christ has risen and He will come again.
And for that we have no choice but to exclaim. "Hallelujah Hallelujah, thanks be to God.
Have a blessed week.
