Below is an honour prayer offered as a gift by our Diocesan Elder-in-Residence, Rikki Kooy. I am grateful to be part of a church that is trying to do better in our relationships: our relationships with the earth, with those who are different from us, and especially with Indigenous peoples. Part of that better way is showing honour – reverencing the ways that God is in and with them. May we all choose and grow into this better, more Christ-like way of relationship. I give thanks for all my gracious and generous teachers, like Elder Rikki Kooy.

Honour all peoples.
